The purpose of giving gifts is to bring joy to both the giver and receiver, promote goodwill, and make for a closer relationship.
To avoid any mishaps or hurt feelings from your gift-giving practices, keep in mind these simple tips: |
|
1. Keep you eyes open. Be alert for a gift wherever and whenever
you can. Buy unique finds when you see them, especially if they are on sale. Ask yourself “is this a good gift for someone and
would I enjoy receiving it?” If that’s a yes then go for it and stock up.

|
2. Shop ahead of time. Regardless if you don’t think you need it or that you can’t think of a person to give it to - don’t think:)
Just get it. In most cases you’ll find yourself wishing you got it when you have a party to go to and have to rush around for a gift. If it
seems like a nice gift, buy it.

3. Stock up. Frequent your favorite stores or online sites to see what’s new whenever you get a free moment.
Choose gifts that are versatile for all occasions including weddings, housewarmings and birthdays. See something fabulous,
buy more than one. Also include hostess and just-thinking-of-you gifts.
|
4. Organize your finds. Establish a designated box area to store the items you’ve collected along the way.
The end result is you will always have an appropriate, well prepared gift when you need one and a little more time for that beautiful wrap job.
Heidi always says, a little thought goes a long way.
